About Us.
Wingham Farm Machinery was first established by Neville Edwards in 1989; he built front end loaders , post hole diggers, and did general steel fabrication and repairs. He and WFMs first employee did all this in a 10mx10m dirt floor shed, with a block and tackle and hand trolly as the only tools for lifting.
It did not take long for the business to grow; by 1995 he had moved into a larger shed with fork lifts, overhead cranes and more employees. It was around this time WFMs product range grew, now including Slashers, Post Drivers, Pallet forks, Bale spike frames, 4x1 and standard buckets, Bull Blades, and much much more... A proud contribution to his range was a ecconomical round bale grabs, as it was in the mid 90s when large round bales became more popular on small and medium farms. And still today this bale grab is one of our best sellers.
In 2011 WFM was sold to Boyd Boughton and Daniel Ney. Boyd has been working in the bussiness since first opening in 1989. Boyd has been the factory production manager for over 10 years, giving him over 22years of farm machinery manufacturing experience.
Daniel started a similer manufacturing business in 2007 called Wingham Welding Works and quickly grew throughout the next 4yrs. During this time Wingham Welding had established a successfull online business, manufacturing motorcycle carriers, quick lift stands and fork savers and shipped them all over Australia, soon adding farrier gear to there range. In 2009 Wingham Welding Works together with Darren Robertson (customer) designed a new safer version of the common hoof stand which got them onto "ABCs New Inventors" in Febuary 2010. With the additon of Wingham Welding Works to Wingham Farm Machinery in 2011, WFM now has the capabillities of stainless steel and aluminium fabrications, and will be utilizing Wingham Weldings freight connections to move Farm Machinery all over Australia. Sharpes The Sharpe Family began business as Sharpes Garage in Cessnock NSW in 1953. Originally a repair garage, the company began selling and servicing cars, tractors and machinery in 1953.
In 1975 Sharpes became John Deere Dealers. During 1984 Sharpes opened a new Dealership in Rutherford (Maitland) which is head office for Sharpes Tractor Centre. We operate another Dealership in Taree offering a full range of tractors, commercial and residential grounds care equipment, parts and service. Today, the company is managed by John Sharpe. The founder Les Sharpe still takes an active roll in the day to day running of the dealership.
Sharpes are franchised for John Deere residential mowing equipment, compact tractors, commercial out-front mowers, Gator utility vehicles, 5000, 6000 & 7000 series tractors, hay making equipment and Golf & Turf.
Throughout the years we have endeavoured to excel in meeting customer needs. This ongoing practice has resulted in the growth of our business. A business we are proud to call our own.

Motorbike Carriers Inquires
Motorbike carrier
Description
This carrier can replace your large, hard to store and hard to manoeuvre bike trailer. Weighing in at about 25kgs makes it easy to install and easy to store.
Load rating 160kgs.
How It Works
Walk your bike up the galvanized ramp (made from 2mm plate) and use the two tie down points at the front of the carrier to strap your handlebars down. Then simply strap your rear wheel to the carrier. The ramp then locks on to the front of the carrier and you're ready to go! (Tie downs are not supplied as standard and should be fitted correctly as with any carrier)
Added Extras!
This carrier has been wired with brake lights and blinkers (which is a road safety requirement as your normal lights will most likely be obscured). The lights are protected by steel covers and are wired into a 7 pin flat plug so you simply plug it into your trailer plug. This carrier also has a number plate mount at the rear.
Fitting To Your Vehicle
This unit will fit vehicles with a Hayman Reece tow hitch or equivalent. This type of tow hitch has a removable sleeve that is 50mm x 50mm OR 40mm x 40mm. You will also need to consider the down-force on your hitch and make sure it has a sufficient rating.(This can be done by phoning your local towbar fitter or lookng on the tow bars compliance plate) The total length of this carrier is 190cm and will stickout approx 850mm from your cars hitch (will vary on different cars). You will also need to insure your car is fitted with an anti rattle bolt, call WinFarm for more details 02 65535729
